Dr. Nick Pilcher is a world-leading turtle expert, whose research is helping save turtle populations around Asia. In order to catch them off the paradise island of Pulau Mantanani, Borneo, Dr. Pilcher uses a technique known as ‘turtle wrangling.’ In Episode 13, he puts presenter Bertie through his paces and explains some of the threats facing these unique reptiles. Nick’s work at Mantanani is made possible by generous contributions from the Save Our Seas foundation and Sabah Ports.
