Amphibious Medics

Amphibious Medics thrive in water…it’s where we originally took our name from.

Amphibious Medics was created by Mike Donoghue, a diver medic, to serve the marine side of Los Angeles media productions. After numerous requests from non-entertainment entities, the company moved into the Construction First Aid Industry. We are now proud to be part of some of the most high-profile construction projects and high profile events in the country. In 2011, utilizing a nationwide staffing network, the Amphibious Medics emergency response and dive teams were in position to “get dirty” with the nation’s largest obstacle racing events, including Tough Mudder and Spartan Race. The high energy excitement of these extreme events has ignited a passionate following among emergency service professionals across the United States. These professionals are eager to share in the challenges that come with working as an Amphibious Medic.

Amphibious Medics thrive in water…it’s where we originally took our name from. If a production or extreme event involves water or mud the Amphibious Medics contractors are there saving lives.

AM Dune Buggy

We staff events with lifeguards, rescue divers (or above) and swift-water technicians. Our divers are some of the most experienced in the industry. Many carry swift-water rescue, rescue diver, and commercial hard-hat diver certifications in addition to their standard certifications. The company has extensive experience in rescue, rigging, and safety diving.

Many productions require non-scuba trained talent or crew to work beneath the surface. Our instructors are industry professionals that can get your people down, get the shot, and get them back up safely.

If a production has a higher level of marine-related danger, we are able to assign our swift water technicians or qualified rescue diver personnel.
