Rare Shots of a Blue Whale Feeding

by

The biggest eats some of the smallest and we get to see it thanks to a drone.

The largest animals on the planet eat some of the smallest, but only if it’s worth it.  As researchers have explained, a blue whale expends a fair amount of energy when they feed so they’re selective  about when they do it. Aside from that tidbit of info, it’s pretty rare that researchers or anyone gets a bird’s eye view of a blue whale not only feeding, but  making that kind of choice in such an obvious way.  Enjoy!
