Gray Whale Surprises Divers

by

Imagine being on a dive in Monterey and seeing a gray whale appear out of nowhere. That’s exactly what happened to these divers.

Some lucky divers in Monterey, California got a rare treat as a gray whale appeared of out the blue (pun intended) to give them a gentle reminder that you just never know what you’re going to see underwater.  Surprises like this are pretty incredible and rare!

Gray whales are considered critically endangered with less than 200 known to still inhabit the waters off California.
