Welcome to my new series, The Art Of SCUBA Diving! Join me as I explore some of the most remote and exciting dive locations on the planet, and witness some of natures most interesting underwater creatures and phenomenon.
Each week a new episode will be published right here, where I will be exploring the underwater universe of a new location, many of which you might not have ever heard of. I will show you what its like to scuba dive in amazing destinations such as Indonesia, Egypt, Palau, Mauritius and much more!
On this episode, I get to explore the wonders of Malapascua, a tiny island in northern Cebu of the Philippines. Malapascua has long been known for being the go-to location to see thresher sharks, but as I find out there is a lot more to see then just that!
From great muck diving right off the beach, to wall and drift dives, to spawning mandarine fish, and then my favorite, Gato Island, Malapascua turned out to be not only a world-class dive location, but also an underwater photographer’s dream.
Have you been to Malapascua? If not, is it on your scuba diver’s bucket list after watching this episode? If you want more information about Malapascua, check out my comprehensive guide to SCUBA Diving Philippines.
