How did ReefBox get started?
A divemaster himself, the owner of ReefBox, Rusty Walters, only includes items that he’d want in his own kit. He also stands behind his company motto to “deliver high-quality dive supplies and accessories to keep divers excited about the sport while contributing to the conservation efforts of our world’s coral reefs.”
To that end, ReefBox utilizes biodegradable boxes made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled materials. They also feature eco-friendly ink. In addition, the company donates a portion of its proceeds to the Coral Reef Alliance. The organization restores and protects coral reefs in partnership with the communities living nearest the reefs.
