I'm a photographer and videographer based in South Florida. I'm driven towards exploring new and exciting places both above and below the surface. My goal is to share the amazing experiences I have underwater with others, in hopes of promoting awareness about the beauty of our underwater world and why it’s worth protecting.

This is a project I've been filming over the last several months in Palm Beach, FL. Since I was young, I've always been fascinated by sharks. Once I became a diver, I finally had the opportunity to be in the water with these majestic animals. It was a very profound experience, and I've come to find that sharks are nothing like what the media makes them out to be.

Sharks are now facing a number of difficulties due to overfishing and the high demand of shark fin markets in Asia. The lack of proper fishing regulations and little public awareness about the problems surrounding sharks further contributes to all of this.

My hope for this video is to help change some of the public's misunderstood beliefs about sharks, and show others the truth about their behavior towards humans based on my own experience as a diver.
