Narcissistic Nudibranch

By Scubazoo Editor

Scubazoo are South East Asia’s leading underwater filming and photography company. Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, on the island of Borneo, their cameramen have filmed for landmark productions such as BBC's Life in Cold Blood, LIFE and Human Planet. Scubazoo have also built up a large and diverse stock library of video footage and photos as well as publishing several underwater coffee table books including 'Reef' and their latest: 'Maldives - The Underwater Kingdom'.
Is this an example of narcissism in nudibranchs? Perhaps there's a straightforward scientific explanation for why this spanish dancer spent over half an hour kissing its own reflection but I prefer to believe that it was dazzled by its own beauty :) It carried on for at least 30 minutes before I swam away to give it some privacy!
