“Before ATOMIC, there was no best in scuba diving,” says the slogan of Atomic Aquatics. And indeed it’s true when it comes to their Atomic Aquatics Range, which has been recognized by numerous industrial design juries. One of the state of the art marvels of Atomic Aquatics products is its Cobalt Dive Computer.

The innovative Cobalt Dive Computer is everything you look for before going for a dive. An easy to use, user friendly interface makes it just a matter of seconds for the user to get acquainted to the device, as following the screen prompts is really intuitive. These menus can also be customized according to the user’s needs. Navigation of these menus is made simple with just the use of four leak proof magnetic buttons.

Here is a great overview by Divers Direct TV:

But the simple interface can in no way be compared to the complex and advanced functions of the Atomic Aquatic Cobalt Dive Computer, which are is a dream come true for every diver. And due to its exceptional programming, this electronic wonder can programmed to a variety of three gas mixes, including 99% oxygen.

This advanced level diving computer uses a high contrast, full color, OLED screen with impeccable brightness and sharpness so that it can be clearly viewed from any angle. The screen can also be adjusted into the desired illumination settings. The point of attraction for the divers here is that the screen stays easily legible even under several feet of ocean water, unlike other similar gadgets. Moreover, the high quality lithium ion battery can power the Aquatic Cobalt Diving Computer for 40-60 diving hours, and can be conveniently recharged through a computer’s USB port, or through an AC adaptor.

The Cobalt’s display is divided into three sections for diver’s ease. The top section contains a graphic bar that changes color as you move towards decompression. The middle section displays current dive data like depth, temperature and a three dimensional electronic compass. The bottom section contains air pressure, gas mixture and the remaining gas time.

Apart from the standard features, Aquatic Cobalt Diving Computer is equipped with the exceptional diving scheduler that can be programmed to plan several dives at a time. Furthermore, dive records can be maintained in a log for up to 600 hours of dive experience. These diving plans and logs from previous dives can be easily downloaded to your PC for future use and reference.

A special feature of Recreational Reduced Gradient Bubble Model (RGBM) has also been added, keeping the needs and requirements of diving enthusiasts and professionals in mind. Automatic Altitude Adjustment also provides divers with great ease up to a maximum depth of 100 meters.

Cobalt’s additional feature, compared with other computers, is that this computer also comes with a quick disconnect high pressure hose.  This ensures that the computer is safe while transporting the regulator system, as well as makes it easy to handle while diving.

Atomic Aquatics Cobalt Dive Computer, being a cutting edge technology device, is manufactured keeping in mind divers’ ergonomic needs by using the best materials to achieve maximum performance.
